Our calling is to optimise the technical, economic and environmental performance of our customers’ installations. Public authorities and companies alike place their trust in us, commissioning us to run complex energy systems. We help to improve their professional and everyday lives through each and every one of our services.
Our technicians take turns, day and night, to keep our customers’ systems running smoothly. They carry out the most varied work on over 2,300 sites across Switzerland, ranging from urban infrastructures to industrial sites and district heating systems.
Our company culture places a natural focus on our customers. We listen, work to understand your needs, carry out diagnostics, consider the technical, economic and environmental limitations, and use all this to come up with innovative operational solutions.
We are available on the phone 24/7.
Our momentum is built to last because we continually invest in the skills of our team members, research and high-quality, innovative services. We continually develop our methods for recruiting people to the CGC Energie team, evolving the way in which we train them and get the most out of their individual skills. With this dynamic approach, we can keep adapting to our customers’ needs and delivering bespoke solutions.
From its beginnings in Switzerland in 1948, the company has established a solid reputation for its services and expertise in residential and industrial heating, air conditioning and ventilation.
In this continually evolving sector, the company developed its broad knowledge through a new innovation: remote building management.
In 1991, the company merged with Dalkia in Switzerland, a global leader in the sector with large-scale operations throughout Europe.
In 2000, our partnership with SIG enabled us to found a joint venture: CADIOM (chauffage à distance par l'incinération des ordures ménagères ).
In developing its district heating services, CGC Energie acquired the wood-fuelled district heating network for the town of Crissier (west of Lausanne) under the name CRICAD Energie SA in 2006.
The company went on to acquire TRAITAIR in 2008, which helped develop its work in air conditioning and ventilation in the canton of Geneva.
In 2012, as part of a management buyout, Mr Jean-Philippe Louet (Chairman and CEO) took over all the Dalkia (Suisse) SA operations in partnership with SIG.
With its experience and various acquisitions, CGC Energie has become a leading energy services provider today.
