Our company story
From its beginnings in Switzerland in 1948, the company has established a solid reputation for its services and expertise in residential and industrial heating, air conditioning and ventilation.
In this continually evolving sector, the company developed its broad knowledge through a new innovation: remote building management.
In 1991, the company merged with Dalkia in Switzerland, a global leader in the sector with large-scale operations throughout Europe.
In 2000, our partnership with SIG enabled us to found a joint venture: CADIOM (chauffage à distance par l'incinération des ordures ménagères ).
In developing its district heating services, CGC Energie acquired the wood-fuelled district heating network for the town of Crissier (west of Lausanne) under the name CRICAD Energie SA in 2006.
The company went on to acquire TRAITAIR in 2008, which helped develop its work in air conditioning and ventilation in the canton of Geneva.
In 2012, as part of a management buyout, Mr Jean-Philippe Louet (Chairman and CEO) took over all the Dalkia (Suisse) SA operations in partnership with SIG.
With its experience and various acquisitions, CGC Energie has become a leading energy services provider today.
